War Fundraising Effort
Dear Friends,
In the wake of the recent war with Iran and the state of emergency across Israel, Shamir Medical Center remains at the forefront of Israel’s national medical response and resilience. During the war, our underground emergency hospital was activated, treating trauma victims, new mothers, and critically ill patients under fire.
While that phase of the war might be over, the psychological and physical toll has just begun to surface, the hospital is facing an overwhelming demand for emergency care, trauma recovery, and long-term rehabilitation, particularly for our soldiers and civilians.
We also need to prepare for future threats and be ready to face any challenges that will arise. To meet this end, we urgently need your support to ensure that Shamir Medical Center can continue operating its fortified medical units, expand its capacity to treat PTSD and long-term injuries, and remain fully equipped for whatever may come next.

ABOUT US
Our not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization was established in 1983 to raise money for one of the largest hospitals in Israel. Although little known in the United States, Shamir Medical Center is the fourth-largest government hospital in Israel, it provides over 1 million residents in Israel's central region with state-of-the-art medical care and services. Serving an economically and socially diverse community, we are proud to be the medical 'home base' for the cultural mosaic that is Israel, administrating care to Jews, Muslims and Christians, religious and secular communities, low and middle-income families and veterans as well as immigrants from Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union.
